Milana
Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T commercials, she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in until 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not the only thing she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub, who was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she was kicked out of the school after her second year. She then obtained the GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
